IBM and Red Hat Invest 5 Billion Dollars to Enhance Open Source Software Security
IBM and Red Hat launched the "Guangjing Project", establishing a "Trusted Corporate Clearing House" platform, mobilizing over 20,000 engineers worldwide to use AI technology to identify and fix security vulnerabilities in open source software on a large scale. IBM currently uses over 62,000 open source packages, highlighting the urgency of open source security issues.
